Booking Policy:

 

  1. Clients must book under their own name. 

  2. Clients are asked to only book online or by calling the salon. 

  3. Our engaging customer service team will best accommodate your bookings or inquiries, consultation concerns and general questions over the phone (and via email or message submission online?)

  4. Social Media inquiries, comments or direct messages are welcome, though are not accepted as a booking confirmation.

  5. A Credit Card is required to schedule your appointment. ViviD Salon will never charge your card unless cancelling accordance to cancellation policy

  6. ViviD Salon will take a before and after photographs of your hair service, unless you communicate otherwise 

 

Cancelation Policy

 

We are sorry that you are not able to make your appointment at ViviD Salon. Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment will result in a 30% charge of the total services missed. (Or $150 charge?)

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Thank you for your interest in booking an appointment at ViviD Salon. To ensure that you are set up for a successful service, here are some notes that we put together to help shape what to expect once you book and come in.

 

  • The average hair lightening service takes time. We want to ensure that this process is best in class, and not at all rushed. You should expect 4-6 hours from start to finish. Depending on hair length and colour requests, this could take more time.

  • ViviD Salon offers each client a thorough consultation and quote prior to each treatment. All quotes consulted over phone is a started price. Day off appointment expect your final quote. 

  • Colour corrections result in multiple sessions 

  • We recommend in many cases that clients also invest in a trim with DV Colour signature blends. This is to ensure porosity of hair as well as optimal maintenance at home. To help prepare for the wait times during each treatment, we suggest that you pack snacks, a book, have your phone charger handy and bring your lap-top. Many clients catch up on their emails or indulge in a good read during this time. 

  • Because your hair health is a priority, do note that overly porous, damaged hair will not be treated if the DV Colour team feel that it is not a best practice to move forward with a chemical service. 

  • Boxed hair colours, especially black, will require strand testing prior to best assess how your hair will react or lift. Again, this is to ensure that your hair health is optimal.

  • Dress comfortably and casual - and remember that ViviD Salon is a colour driven atmosphere. We would not want your personal belongings to be stained or to come in contact with colour. This being said, ViviD Salon is not responsible for any stains on personal belongings or lost items.  

  • The overall salon has a very busy vibe. Keep in mind that some techniques require testing and may result in mild discomfort.

My favourite thing about the DV Colour team is their attention to detail matched with their patience and kindness. They really take time to communicate through hair consultations, which makes me feel comfortable with the process - and all of my questions and answered and my thoughts are heard. My seamless blends are a result of seamless communication!
